CDH AWARENESS DAY/MONTH
On July 31, 2007 the Board of Directors of Breath of Hope, Inc. launched the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness campaign by writing to their respective governors requesting Proclamations designating March 31st as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness Day.
Breath of Hope wants to unite all of those affected by the congenital diaphragmatic hernia birth defect. We have one goal, getting the word out. We hope to increase awareness in an effort to stimulate and encourage meritorious research so we may have better knowledge of the cause of congenital diaphragmatic hernias and treatment.
We encourage everyone to wear turquoise on March 31st. It's a simple, powerful way to raise awareness for the congenital diaphragmatic hernia birth defect.
Contact Breath of Hope, Inc. for more information.
